REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE

Homestead Management strives to rent quality homes that are in excellent condition. During your stay with us, it is possible that various components may fail to perform properly and be in need of repair or replacement. We urge all of our residents to call at any time to ask questions about household systems or to make us aware of any problems with your home. We are more than happy to assist you in restoring all household components to proper working order. We promise to provide excellent customer service and resolve the issue in a timely manner.

In the event of a need for minor maintenance or non-emergency repair: 

  • Call the Homestead Management representative at 770-312-6172. 

  • Leave a message if unable to make direct personal contact

  • Expect a response within 24 hours. The maintenance or repair will be scheduled and completed in a timely manner.

 

In the event of a need for genuine emergency repair (e.g. water leak, gas odor, power outage, etc.): 

  • Call the Homestead Management representative at 770-312-6172. 

  • Leave a message if unable to make direct personal contact.

  • If no direct personal contact was made on the first call and a voicemail message was left, then call the following contractors immediately. Describe the issue and coordinate a time for them to come to the property and render assistance. These specific contractors are authorized by Homestead Management to make any necessary repairs.

    • General mechanical, roof leak, interior water or gas leak, or electrical problems:

    • Septic tank seepage or overflow:

      • Davis Septic Tank Service (Larry Earwood): 770-380-8360

    • Heating or Air Conditioning (HVAC) problems:

      • Potate's Appliance, Heating & Air: 770-942-0249

      • Please understand that a malfunction associated with the household Air Conditioning system is not considered an emergency situation.   

 

 

NOTE: Any service calls made directly by a resident to any of these contractors in non-emergency situations (without the involvement and prior approval of the HMLLC representative listed above) will be billed to resident and not to Homestead Management, LLC.
